Penhaligons Anthology Zizonia 3.4 oz EDT Unisex
Zizonia Cologne by Penhaligon's, Zizonia was originally released in the 1930s and was reintroduced in 2001. It is an intriguing and mysterious scent that is an ideal fragrance for the cooler fall and winter months. The fragrance opens with the top notes of nutty cardamom, juicy orange, citrusy bergamot, and crisp coriander. It then transitions to the heart notes of herbal cumin, spicy pepper, aromatic ginger, warm nutmeg, fresh geranium, and delicate lavender. The base notes contain hints of golden amber, woody Virginia cedar, sophisticated patchouli, relaxing sandalwood, and earthy vetiver to balance the fragrance and provide an enigmatic scent profile. The fragrance has a weak longevity which makes it ideal for evening events, and it has a soft sillage so it stays close to you and won’t become heavy or overwhelming. It was created by Christian Provenzano for Penhaligon’s, an old British perfume house that was founded in 1870. The company began as a barbershop and launched their first fragrance in 1872.
