Introduced in September 2011, this was the first of its kind from John Varvatos. Unlike predecessors Artistan and John Varvatos, and Black Artisan - USA has a unique flacon.
This fragrance is targeted to a more youthful and vibrant man, going away from the traditional, elegant style of the original varvatos collections. The masculan design reminded Varvatos of an old subway token (the top) in addition to the an old spring loaded antique beer bottel.
Star USA was collaborated with Elizabeth Arden while the advertising campaign was the work of Stephen Niedzwiecki.
Offering top notes of red ginger, cedrat, and juniper berries and base notes of vetiver, Venezuela tonka and belambre.
This is definately rock and roll, and a unique fragrance to say the least.
